Then Join us for the DiscipleMakers Experience (DMX) Internship!

 

You’ll have the opportunity to join with other like-minded college students who are on mission to make disciples of Jesus Christ for 7 weeks in State College, PA.

Learn what it’s like to work with a campus ministry like DiscipleMakers full-time either on campus or in our headquarters. You’ll live with other interns, building deep community and friendships that may last a lifetime.

If you haven’t already, be sure to read about the summer internship experience, including what to expect while serving as a campus intern, an international campus intern, and an HQ intern. Also check out some stories about how God works during the internship and even during support-raising!

Here is the application timeline:

  • Fri, Oct 3 → Application opens

  • Mon, Nov 3 → Application deadline

  • Fri, Nov 21 → Notification of acceptance

  • Mon, Dec 1 → Response due

If you are accepted to the internship, here's what you can expect before the summer:

  • Mon, Dec 8 → Support-raising information is sent to you

  • Mon, Jan 2 - Sat, 3 → Launch of the internship to get to know your fellow interns and to prepare for support-raising. This will take place in State College.

  • Sat, Jan 17 → First support letters mailed

  • Spring semester → With the help of your support-raising mentor, you will raise support to do the internship.

  • Fri, May 15 → Support fully raised

Here's what you can expect during the summer:

  • Sat, June 20 → Internship Starts: Move to State College

  • Sat, June 21 - Fri, June 26 → Internship Orientation

  • Mon, June 29 → Outreach begins: PSU Summer Session starts

  • Sat, August 8 → Internship Ends
