Growing up, my biggest fear was being alone, which drove my life, not Christian values I heard at home. Years of loss and abandonment led to deep brokenness, and a long struggle with depression. While the Lord drew me to Himself, it was through fellowship with DiscipleMakers that the truth of the Gospel became a reality for the brokenness in my heart. The Lord constantly invites me, saying, “Come to me, all you who are heavy laden, and I will give you rest” (Matthew 11:28). Today, I am so excited to see how He uses my experience and His strength to encourage others going through similar brokenness and sorrow!
