Jadon Kessler has reached his ministry funding goal!

Jadon & Gina Kessler

We’re excited to celebrate an important milestone: Jadon Kessler has officially reached his ministry fundraising goal!

Support raising is a season that requires faith, perseverance, and a willingness to depend on the Lord. Throughout that journey, Jadon was also strengthened by the encouragement and support of his wife, Gina. Reflecting on what God taught him through the process, Jadon shared: "The biggest lesson that I have learned in support raising is that the Lord who leads me, sustains me, and strengthens me. My efforts are weak, but He is mighty."

Jadon’s support-raising mentor, DM staff member Steven Detwiler, had the opportunity to walk closely with him throughout this season. Having seen both the challenges and the growth along the way, Steven reflected: “Jadon and Gina both demonstrated remarkable resilience, faith, and courage throughout Jadon’s support-raising journey. Jadon diligently clung to God’s word daily and faithfully took steps to allow God to raise his support while also sanctifying him along the way. The NEPA team is now getting a man who is ready and will faithfully spread the gospel of Jesus Christ on the college campuses!”

With fundraising complete, Jadon is now preparing to serve on the Northeast PA Campus Team. Gina is excited to serve in showing hospitality to the fellowship, being a friend to the girls on campus, and modeling what it looks like to be a godly wife and mom. Their team leader, Brian Seay, is eager to welcome them and see how God will use them in the lives of students throughout the region. He shared: “I’m praising God for providing both Jadon’s support and the endurance to persevere to the end of full-time fundraising. We’re eager to see how God will use him and Gina on the team and on the campus!”

Jadon, congratulations! We’re grateful for the way you have trusted the Lord and persevered throughout this season. We’re also thankful for the encouragement Gina has given along the way and for the many people who have partnered with you. We look forward to seeing how God will work through your ministry with the Northeast PA Campus Team.

Amelia Boyd has reached her ministry funding goal!

Amelia Boyd

We’re thrilled to celebrate an exciting milestone: Amelia Boyd has officially reached her ministry fundraising goal!

Support raising is a season that stretches faith in countless ways, and Amelia experienced God’s faithfulness every step of the journey. Looking back, she reflected on what the Lord taught her through the process: “Support raising has taught me so much about the Lord’s sovereignty and love for me. No matter how many times I fell short, I would never lose the Lord’s love and could always trust him to finish what he started. I can’t wait to take these lessons with me to campus as I get to share God’s love with students at Shippensburg and Gettysburg!”

Along the way, Amelia was encouraged by her support raising mentor, DM staff member Rebekah Fodale, who had a front row seat to the work God was doing in her life. Rebekah shared: “Amelia showed beautiful faith and courage in support raising. She humbly let God’s Word shape her work and life; and she boldly stepped out to meet and love new people. I am so excited to get to continue to work alongside Amelia to make the gospel known! She is such a delight!”

Now Amelia is preparing to join the Mason-Dixon campus team, serving students at Shippensburg and Gettysburg. Her team leader, Mike Kreider, is eager to welcome her to the field. He shared: “The Mason-Dixon Team is thrilled to have Amelia joining us! We’ve been praying that the Lord would provide more quality laborers to join us in our efforts on campus, and we believe Amelia will be an answer to those prayers. She has proven herself very capable and faithful in her initial fundraising journey, and we can’t wait to see how that translates into her ministry to students on campus!”

Amelia, congratulations! We’re grateful for the way you have trusted the Lord throughout this journey and for the many people who have partnered with you to reach students with the gospel. We’re excited to see how God will continue to work through you as you begin ministry on campus.

Joe was a hard worker, and the Lord blessed his efforts. Upon completing fundraising, Joe was already looking ahead to his assignment in our Headquarters. He said this: “I am glad to be in State College serving through the support the LORD brought in. Praise him for what he has done in this process and for his provision to send me to be part of reaching students with the gospel and making disciples of Christ."

Joe didn’t make it through this alone. His support raising mentor, staff member Jay Svec, shared this about God’s work in Joe during this season: “During Joe's support raising, he did a great job pushing forward and crossing the finish line! Joe took steps of faith that paid off: he had long referral chains leading to support, large unexpected donors, etc. I'm thankful to have Joe as a friend and a co-worker in the HQ—specifically in the room next to me!”

Already, Joe is hard at work in our Systems Department, having served there as an intern. Welcoming him back, department leader Jason Maas had this to share: “As an intern, Joe helped create a valuable software tool that many DiscipleMakers staff use.  He's a great listener, and he eagerly works hard for the Lord.  I'm looking forward to seeing what else he creates in the years to come, which will help us to build God's kingdom!”

We’re excited to share some great news with you all: Jerry Stock has officially reached his ministry fundraising goal!

If you know Jerry and his wife Ceili, it’s no surprise that they approached this season by encouraging one another and pressing forward together. Reflecting on what God taught him through support raising, Jerry shared this: “God does provide! And it’s not only ministry support. He was a comfort when I was weary, a voice when I didn’t know what to say, and a motivator when I needed a loving prod. Through support raising, God showed Himself to be a loving and generous Father.”

Indeed, support raising can be challenging, so Jerry had even more support: his mentor, DM staff member Keith Evans. Keith witnessed firsthand the growth God has brought about in Jerry during this season. saying this: “During his season of fundraising, Jerry did a great job balancing faith and hard work. He was rarely ever discouraged and often blown away by the Lord's faithfulness and generosity. I'm thankful to have him as both a friend and a co-laborer on campus!”
