Hey there! We are so thankful that you are considering volunteering with our ministry and partnering with us in our mission to raise up effective disciple-making disciples of Jesus Christ on college campuses!

Below you’ll find a list of all the things that would need to happen in order to become an official and approved DM volunteer. Most of these tasks will be tracked and completed through our human resources software, BambooHR, which you will be given access to after “step #3” is complete.

  1. Once you’ve read over this page, let a DiscipleMakers staff know that you would like to move forward with becoming an official DM volunteer. (If a staff has already requested that you become a volunteer, you can just let them know that you are willing.)

  2. A DiscipleMakers leader will then write a reference for you to send to our HR department. (In some cases, they may need to meet with you to determine if you would be a good fit in this role, or in order to get to know you better.)

  3. Our HR Department will work with that leader to determine who your supervisory staff will be.

  4. You’ll then need to complete the required background checks using our Background Check & Training Manual(Please note that this process can take several weeks to complete.)

  5. Then you’ll need to read and sign our Volunteer Agreement.

  6. And that’s it! Our HR Department will be in touch once everything is complete to let you know that you are now an official DM Volunteer!
