The Summer Discipleship Challenge in 2027 will provide you with content and a guide to lead your own discipleship group for 8 weeks, to prepare for making disciples into the new school year, and even after graduation.

WhO: Students or those graduating in May 2027 who want to make disciples this summer. You will recruit and lead your own discipleship group of friends, family, or fellow students. But only you as the leader need to sign up for SDC2027, your discipleship group participants do not need to sign up.
What: 8 modules of the Discipleship Essentials: Gospel, Prayer, Bible, Local Church, Sanctification, Evangelism, Disciple-Making, and Missions.
When: 8 weeks during summer 2027
Time commitment: Estimated four hours per week: 1-2 hours of leading your discipleship group, 1 hour of homework, and 1 hour of preparation & admin.
Where: You pick your time & location with your discipleship group! We’ll also host a Discord for just the leaders who sign up to give you ongoing encouragement and coaching.
Why: Jesus calls us in Matthew 28:19 to make disciples of all nations. This is our global purpose for His glory and our joy!
How: Leaders will receive a Leader Guide for the 8 modules. You’ll use this guide to help you lead each of the 8 meetings of your discipleship group.
Cost: Free for college students!
