Women's Conference 2021

Therefore, as you received Christ Jesus the Lord, so walk in him, rooted and built up in him and established in the faith, just as you were taught, abounding in thanksgiving.
Colossians 2:6-7

“Rooted in the Lord,” a seemingly simple phrase, but one that often doesn’t describe us.  At the 2021 Women’s Conference we will work through the book of Colossians as we consider areas in which women are specifically tempted to root their identity. We are eager to have the opportunity to share this conference with the women in our ministry. We have seen firsthand how women are easily tempted to make their faith about the accomplishment of their responsibilities or through comparison to others rather than flowing from a love of the Lord. Whatever other ground we are tempted to root ourselves in, we hope this conference will illuminate what Colossians teaches about the beauty of an identity rooted in Jesus.

An Online Event

Women’s Conference will be online once again this year. We are excited about the content for this event and hope that you will be encouraged by it. Community with other women is the heart and soul of Women’s Conference, so we’ll again be facilitating online small groups. We know that being online just isn’t the same though. So some DiscipleMakers campuses may also be offering in-person watch parties, live workshops, and in-person small groups as restrictions allow. To learn if your campus might be meeting in-person, please talk to your campus staff.

For Women, By Women

Women’s Conference is a unique opportunity for the women of DiscipleMakers to come together. By attending, you’ll have the opportunity to participate in life-changing preaching, worship, and workshops put together by DiscipleMakers’ staff women. During our main sessions, we’ll hear from Shannon Fodale, Megan Royes, and Heather Smartt.
