About DM Positions
All of our Staff have a primary ministry focus, but whatever their organizational position, they ask themselves what they can do to help the ministry as a whole. We need more quality laborers on both the President's Team and on all of our campus teams.
President's Team
"As each

President's Team (PT) staff work at the DiscipleMakers headquarters office in State College, PA. Using their special talents and abilities to support the whole ministry of DM, PT staff multiply the impact of campus staff. God is doing great things through DM, and being on the PT puts you at the center, where you witness and directly support God's amazing work at all of our campuses.
We need well-trained, highly skilled individuals in the following areas of this high-impact team. If you lack these skills but are willing to learn and strive for excellence, we will train you.

Here's how one student described the role his Staff worker played in his life: "Through your talks and lifestyle, you have challenged me time and time again with the radical call of the Gospel. You have been a father to me in your wise counsel and commitment to excellence, and in your compassion you are one of my best friends. I thank God for how He has worked in you and for how He has placed you in my life."
Are you excited by this vision of entrusting Jesus' words to faithful men and women who will go forth and entrust the message to others? Do you love sharing the good news of the Gospel of Jesus Christ with those who don't know Him? Have you seen God use you to effectively disciple others in their relationship with God and help them grow in their ministry skills? If so, you should consider becoming a campus Staff worker. There are four major areas to our ministry:
- Bible Study: We lead both evangelistic and training Bible studies, helping the students discover Jesus and learn to accurately handle God's Word, making insightful observations, accurate interpretations, and relevant applications to their own lives. We also give larger group talks that model good Bible study to the students and exhort them to conform their lives to the Scriptures.
- Evangelism: We are the chief evangelists on our campuses, leading the way in meeting new students and inviting them to Bible studies and large group meetings. Through our example and coaching, we train students to reach out in their dorms, classes, and cafeteria lines.
- Discipleship: We mentor students 1-on-1 and in group situations, encouraging them to submit their lives ever more fully to Christ the King. Not satisfied with mere outward change, we aim for the heart in all areas of growth. In addition, we seek to train our students not just to be disciples, but disciple-makers themselves!
- Leadership Training: We have opportunities to exercise godly leadership and grow as leaders by managing projects that benefit the ministry as a whole, such as conference/camp directing.
