Shannon Campbell to join the Penn State Team!

We're happy to report that Shannon Campbell will serve on our Penn State Team when she reaches her ministry funding goal.

“I'm so excited for the privilege to serve with DiscipleMakers on the Penn State Team," said Shannon, "and I'm looking forward to getting to know the students and sharing the gospel on campus once I reach my full funding. Praise God for this awesome opportunity!

Recently, Shannon passed the 60% mark on her way toward her ministry support goal. Please pray for Shannon as she continues to work hard toward full support so she can begin her new ministry assignment!

Gary & Lily Christman Reach Ministry Funding Goal

Gary & Lily Christman have reached their ministry funding goal and will be transitioning to their first assignment: the Susquehanna Valley Team. 

Upon reaching their support goal, Gary said: “Throughout this season, it has been apparent that there is ministry everywhere. I don't feel a sense of completion as much as a shift in the audience we will be reaching out to, loving and serving. God has taught Lily and I so much about communication and working together, we are so thankful for all we have learned."

Mike Kreider Joins DiscipleMakers’ Staff Team

Mike Kreider

Mike Kreider has joined DiscipleMakers’ staff team! Mike grew up in Lancaster, PA and became acquainted with DiscipleMakers as a student at Kutztown University. He has served faithfully by leading Bible studies, discipling younger students, leading worship, and helping with behind-the-scenes administration work. He was also a DM intern this past summer.

Upon accepting his position on our staff team, Mike said, “I couldn’t be more excited to labor for the Lord through DiscipleMakers! Through my time as a student at Kutztown University, I’ve seen just a glimpse of the power of God’s Word. I can’t wait to serve Him full-time and see His Word have eternal impacts on others as well!”

Mike is currently finishing his final year at Kutztown and then plans to begin raising funds full-time for his ministry with DM. Praise God for providing a new laborer for the harvest field! Please pray for Mike as he takes his next steps forward.

James Osinski Joins DiscipleMakers’ Staff Team

James Osinski

James Osinski has joined DiscipleMakers’ staff team! James grew up in Saylorsburg, PA and became acquainted with DiscipleMakers as a student at East Stroudsburg University. He has served faithfully by leading Bible studies, discipling younger students, leading worship, and helping with behind-the-scenes administration work. He was also a DM intern this past summer.

“I’m super excited to be working for DM, as the ministry has been crucial in me knowing what it means to have a daily walk with Christ and how knowing Him impacts all areas of life,” said James. “I’ve had the privilege of being a part of the work at ESU for nearly four years, and I’m excited to see where the Lord brings me next to continue His work.”

Nick Smartt Joins DiscipleMakers' Staff Team

Nick Smartt has joined DiscipleMakers’ staff team! From Needmore, PA, Nick was heavily involved with DM as a Penn State student, interning in the summer of 2015. 

Upon accepting a position on our staff team, Nick said, "College is a pivotal time for young adults from all over the world and I'm thrilled to have the opportunity to be an influence for Jesus in their lives during their time at college. I want to see Christ honored in my life and in the lives of others!"

Pray for Nick as he begins support raising over the winter and as he finishes up his senior year at Penn State in May.

Sarah Johnson Reaches Ministry Funding Goal

Praise the Lord! Sarah Johnson has reached her ministry funding goal and will be fully transitioning to her first assignment, the Lancaster Area Team, where she served as in intern in 2015.

Upon reaching her support goal, Sarah said: "I am excited to continue to build relationships with the staff and students that I met as an intern. God is doing amazing work in the Lancaster area, and I am thrilled to be a part of it!"

Bob & Ashley Burns Join DiscipleMakers' Staff Team

Bob & Ashley Burns have joined DiscipleMakers’ staff team! Bob, originally from New Jersey, and Ashley, originally from Virginia, recently felt the call to full time ministry with DiscipleMakers. Bob & Ashley wanted to do even more to further God's Kingdom and felt that a move to full time ministry was the next step for their family. They have been involved in the ministries of their local church for a few years, and are eager to bring their experience to DiscipleMakers. 

Upon accepting their position on our staff team, the Burns said, "We’re very excited to serve on staff with DiscipleMakers because we love seeing others grow in their relationships with the Lord and we know God will use this experience to help us grow closer to Himself as well!"

Praise God with us, and pray for Bob & Ashley as they begin raising a support team for their ministry with DiscipleMakers.

Steph Hartman Joins DiscipleMakers' Staff Team

Steph Hartman has joined DiscipleMakers’ staff team! A native of Oley, PA, Steph was involved with the Penn State fellowship as a college student, she also served as a DM intern.

Upon accepting the staff position, Steph said, "I am super excited to work with the ministry that God has used so much in my own life during college! I can't wait to see what the Lord has in store for me during this next chapter in my life of raising support and then going and sharing the hope of Jesus with college students!"

Praise God with us, and pray for Steph as she finishes up her senior year and begins raising support for her ministry with DiscipleMakers in May.

TJ Renninger Joins DiscipleMakers' Staff Team

TJ Renninger

TJ Renninger has joined DiscipleMakers’ staff team! A Software Engineering major and 2016 graduate of Shippensburg University, TJ was involved with DM's student fellowship during his college years. He also served as a IT professional in the DM summer internship earlier this year. "I am excited to join DiscipleMakers because it has had a huge impact on my life," said TJ. "I want to be a part of a ministry where I can help impact other's lives." 

We praise God for leading TJ to join DM! Pray for him as he begins recruiting his support team for his ministry with DiscipleMakers.

Bria Griffin Has Reached Her Fundraising Goal!

Bria Griffin has reached her ministry funding goal! God has provided the full amount needed for her ministry with DiscipleMakers.“The Lord taught me so many things in this season of support raising,” Bria said. “I’m completely in awe of how he graciously provided for me. I can’t wait to get to the Susquehanna Valley and be a part of what God is doing there.”

Now that she has reached this milestone, Bria will transition to her next ministry assignment: the Susquehanna Valley Team. Please join us in praising the Lord for Bria and pray that He will continue raising up laborers for the harvest field!
