Rhys & Becky John

In his sophomore year at Penn State, Rhys decided to stake his life on God's promise of eternal life through faith in Christ. He was convicted of his need to trust in Christ through the influence of Christian neighbors and reading the Bible. He grew in his faith and began reaching out to fellow classmates. After graduation, Rhys started working for a computer company and continued his ministry to college students. One year later he had the privilege to join DiscipleMakers full time. Now, as a minister on campus, Rhys has more opportunities to live out his passion to reach college students with the Gospel.

Becky is the daughter of Bill and Bonnie Dripps (DiscipleMakers' founder and president) and accepted Christ at an early age. In college at Penn State, Becky was excited to read the Bible with her classmates and watch God transform them with the life-changing message of the Gospel. Since joining DiscipleMakers staff, she has continued to see Christ's power to change people through his Word. Rhys and Becky married in 2002, and are working with college students at Penn State University.
