Why Camp?
DiscipleMakers' May Camps are a provision from God to help you become effective and productive in your walk with God. The main goal of camp is to provide an opportunity for you to spend time with God, to grow in knowledge of Him, and to gain valuable training. As you know Him better, you will be able to serve Him better on your campus and for years to come. For a whole week we will be away from daily duties and distractions and will be able to focus on God. He will reveal Himself to us and help us grow as we study the Scriptures and hear from godly speakers. We hope you can join us! Bring your friends and come, expecting to know more of God and how to serve Him with lasting fruit.
Why me?
Building God's Kingdom on Campus, One Life at a Time.
The Scriptures again and again call us to the highest level of commitment, as well as the greatest task ever given on earth - building God's kingdom. In fact, it's the same task in which Jesus invested himself during His earthly ministry: "I will build My church, and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it" (Matt. 16:18). But often, in the face of the task and the commission, we lose steam. We are prone to lose heart, and get easily discouraged. Or we lose focus, spending time on those things which, in the end, will bear very little fruit for Christ. Or, after a year of investing ourselves in others, we are tired and need refreshment.
The week at camp will be a week of immersion in the Word. Our desire is that you be equipped, renewed, recharged, and refocused! Through a variety of forums - large group expositions, workshops, small groups, corporate worship, private devotions - we want to help you meet with God and be strengthened and challenged to join more fully in the task of building His kingdom.
This camp is open to anyone who wants to grow in Christ-likeness. If your desire is to build God's kingdom, one life at a time, please join us. It will change your life, and will equip you to change the lives of those around you!Who can come?
