Lehigh Valley Winter 2008 Retreat

Our Life Together in Relationships - God is the source of it, the definition of it and the goal of it. Our topics for the Retreat: "Loneliness - How God designed us"; "Our Vision for Relationships - Jesus"; and "How to Work Out Loving, Christ-exalting, Personal Relationships - Paul".
Come join us as we explore what God's Word has to say about how we were created to have relationships; how Jesus came as our perfect relationship model; and how Paul works out relationships as a redeemed sinner saved by grace. Our hope is that we would be energized together in worship, fellowship, and under the ministry of the Word, and that through our time we would gain a vision for relating together better as we grow as disciples of Christ, and build His Kingdom.
General Information
The DiscipleMakers Lehigh Valley Winterl Retreat starts at 7:00PM on Friday, Jan. 25, and ends on Saturday, Jan. 26 in the evening. Please plan to have dinner beforehand, and to arrive no later than 6:15PM to check in. The conference will be held at Ladore Camp & Conference Center, in Waymart, PA.
Cost
The cost for the Conference is $44.00. This covers materials, housing and all meals (Saturday breakfast, lunch, and dinner), and must be received in order to complete your registration.
- Payment can be submitted to a Staff worker or mailed to DiscipleMakers (P.O. Box 74, State College, PA 16804-0074).
- Make the Check out to "DiscipleMakers" and write "Lehigh Valley Retreat" in the memo line.
- Payments should be postmarked no later than Wednesday, Jan. 16th or handed to a Staff worker no later than Friday, Jan. 18th.
- Refunds: These are not usually given. If an emergency arises, you can contact the Registrar by Wednesday, Jan. 16th. After that date no refunds will be given.
What To Bring
We will be staying overnight at Ladore. The retreat center has asked that we bring our own linens/bedding.- Sleeping bag / linens
- Towel, etc.
- Bible (provided if you don't have one)
- Notebook
- Games
- Warm clothes for outdoor activities - You will have a hike to get to the lodge from the cabins. Dress warmly!
