The DiscipleMakers Camp Week 1 starts on Sunday, May 11 (5:30pm) and ends on Friday, May 16 (1:00pm). Camp Week 2 (for Lafayette Students only) starts on Sunday, May 18 and ends on Friday May 23.

Why Camp?
DiscipleMakers' May Camps are a provision from God to help you become effective and productive in your walk with the Lord. Camp provides an opportunity for you to spend a week in community, and under the ministry of the Word, to help you grow in knowledge of the gospel, and to gain valuable training. As you know the Lord better, you will be able to serve Him better on your campus and for years to come.
Building God's Kingdom on Campus, One Life at a Time.
The Scriptures again and again call us to the highest level of commitment, as well as the greatest task ever given on earth - building God's kingdom. In fact, it's the same task in which Jesus invested himself during His earthly ministry: "I will build My church, and the gates of Hell shall not prevail against it" (Matt. 16:18). But often, in the face of the task and the commission, we lose steam. We are prone to lose heart, and get easily discouraged. Or we lose focus, spending time on those things which, in the end, will bear very little fruit for Christ. Or, after a year of investing ourselves in others, we are tired and need refreshment.
The week at camp will be a week of immersion in the Word. Our desire is that you be equipped, renewed, recharged, and refocused! Through a variety of forums - large group expositions, workshops, small groups, corporate worship, private devotions - we want to help you meet with God and be strengthened and challenged to join more fully in the task of building His kingdom.
This camp is open to anyone who wants to grow in Christ-likeness. If your desire is to build God's kingdom, one life at a time, please join us. It will change your life, and will equip you to change the lives of those around you!
Have you ever found reading the Bible difficult or unenjoyable? Have you ever found the Scriptures hard to understand? While the Bible does call us to focused study, it is a refreshing truth to realize that at the heart of the Scriptures is not a boring principle, but an exciting, living and active person!
This
track will focus on unpacking the Scriptures with OIA - careful observation, thoughtful interpretation and personal application. Join us as we encounter the real Jesus in the gospel of Matthew and see Jesus Christ as the fulfillment of all of life's
anticipation and the person in whom all
wisdom and truth is found.
Track II – Growing as a Disciple-Maker
What does it mean to follow Jesus? Christ's agenda for our lives is clear: He wanted everything. Jesus sought those who not only confessed his Lordship, but those who were genuine disciples – people whose hearts were captivated, whose lives were radically transformed; people who would impact the world.
This track will center on developing a ministry that ministers to the heart in a way that is Word-driven and gospel-focused. We will focus on Matthew's gospel to see how Jesus ministered to, recruited and equipped people to be disciples and disciple-makers.

Arriving at the conference: Please plan to arrive at Doubling Gap by 4:30pm for check in and unpacking. The registration desk will be located just inside the Main entrance. Please sign in and pick up your track materials, name badge, room assignment and other important information. It is expected that you will participate in the entire conference (Sunday night until Friday afternoon), and we know you will be glad you did!

Having trouble Registering??
Payment - The cost for Camp is $207.00. This covers materials, housing and meals (Sunday dinner through Friday lunch), and must be received in order to complete your registration.
- Please do not let money be an obstacle for you! If you do not have the funds to come, see the leaders in your fellowship or your staff worker for help. We want you to come!

What should I bring?
Things we suggest that you bring to conference...
- A Bible and a notebook. We will be studying the Bible throughout the weekend, and you'll want to take notes!! If you don't have a Bible, please e-mail your DM Campus Staff and they will be happy to provide you with one.
- Money for books you may wish to buy. A large selection will be available at our booktable!
- Cool-weather/recreational clothing
- Recreational items such as frisbees, footballs, board games, etc.
- Bedding, a pillow, and a towel for your room at the conference site.
*Hiking, sports (indoor and outdoor), paddle-boating, sand volleyball, and other activities are available. Please feel free to bring Board games, cards and other recreational items.
Extravaganza Night!
Themed Skits - The theme of our skits will be Evangelism: Wonders and Blunders. Each school is encouraged to come up with a skit highlighting their greatest triumphs and folly’s during their outreach this past year. They can be funny, inspiring, or both. Each school will be encouraged to give a one minute explanation before or after explaining how God worked and what they learned if it is not clear in the skit. These should tie in music as well if possible.
