Testimony
Hey! My name is Andy Cimbala. I grew up in State College and graduated from Penn State in 2007. I grew up immersed in the Christian culture, but as much as that influenced my outer appearance, my heart remained unchanged. In high school my rebellion was more revealed, and I entered college focused on advancing my own gospel of education and knowledge. But God had different plans! He massively transformed my life and gave me a passion for preaching the Gospel of Jesus Christ and making disciples for Him.
Through the faithful discipleship of Dave Royes during my second year at Penn State the Lord advanced on every level of my sinful heart, revealing my depravity and showing me more of the Gospel. The Lord greatly increased His work in my heart during the DiscipleMakers internship of summer 2006. By the end, I was so captured by a vision for preaching the Gospel and making disciples on campus that I excitedly applied for staff and soon was accepted by the end of that year.
I’m so excited to be a laborer in God’s kingdom, where the harvest is so plentiful! Nothing could be more exciting than preaching the Gospel and making disciples. Won’t you join me in celebrating, laboring, praying, giving, and serving to advance the Kingdom on the college campus?
