Testimony

I graduated from Penn State with a degree in psychology, not knowing the Lord nor did I seek him.  College for me was a time to party.  By His grace, the Lord pursued me and I accepted Jesus at the age of 26.  While I was raising my two sons, Eric and Matt, the Lord kept increasing my passion to reach students with the gospel.

Eventually the Lord led me to join DiscipleMakers in 1993 where I shared the gospel to students back at my alma mater- Penn State.  I love talking to non-Christians about the Lord and seeing Him draw these students to Himself.  It is a privilege to spend my time discipling both staff women and students, helping them to reach out and impact the world for Christ.

I love having staff and students over to my house  for parties. I also enjoy spending time with my two adorable twin grandchildren, Micah and Madison.

Top Picture: 5 generations of disciples- Bonnie discipled me a long time ago. Trina is the first student I discipled at Penn State. She joined our staff and then discipled Jen, who in turn discipled Christie at Muhlenburg! Jen has since joined our staff! Trina has married Matt Patton and Matt is now pursuing a seminary degree while they begin their own family.
